History of Character: Jank Gro’Burgon was born in the lands of the Sword Coast of a place called Faerun. He grew up with his mother whom was human and his father whom was an Orc. At age 7 his uncle (father’s side) killed his parents and took young Jank to the Red Palm Orc tribe. Jank never forgot the massacre of his parents and fought to one day kill his uncle. Jank became the best warrior amoungst the Orcs in the tribe and was the topic of scorn with many. They hated the half breed that was proven time and time again to be better than them. One Orc did not hate him for his strength and fell in love with him. Her name was Jara Bra’Daon, she and Jank quickly became something special. He gave himself to her the night before he decided to leave the tribe. They had been together for nearly a decade and he couldn’t take the constant challenges and attacks of the others. The night he left Jank asked for her to come with him, she said no. Jank left quickly as the uncle found out and sent the warriors of the Red Palm to kill the coward named Jank.
Jank struggled to escape to the nearby town of Waterdeep. The warriors decended upon him with ferocity and hatred. Jank released his barbarism into the horde and fought just as viciously. Jank utilized his longtime friend and ally, his axe Hrothmund. Jank was able to defeat the Orcs of his former tribe and continued to the town, injured. Jank was bleeding out when a late warrior arrived to defeat him in a one on one battle. Jank injured chose not to fight this warrior. Jank didn’t want to fight because the warrior was the love of his life Jara. Jara had come to kill the traitor Jank and so set out to do so. She was ashamed of the child that was growing within her because it was Jank’s. Jank struggled to avoid her for hours, but he could not. Jara cornered Jank within a nearby cavern and as she came to strike him down with her axe, Jank quickly swung. His axe had connected with her slicing her from groin to shoulder, left to right. Jank had killed his former love and unborn child.
Jank ran. He ran and ran and ran. Finally he came upon a town in the deep south called Tethyr. There he befriended a man called Apherion Achades. They traveled and adventured together saving Faerun and all conjoining realms and continuums. Jank along the way met a slew of heroes ranging from the paladin Roman Vincent, the druid Silvos Fredrick Auren, the fighter Atlas, the monk Chichiri Yagami, and many more. Jank fought and lived his life accordingly. When he was 22 Jank was captured by one of his former tribe and given the opportunity to kill his uncle. Jank viciously slaughtered the Orc without hesitation for sending Jank’s former Beloved Jara after him. Jank walked away from the tribe of the Red Palm Orcs knowing that they would destroy themselves. Jank and his allies won a great victory against a time lord dark elf named Draven, after several hundred years in a temporal crack in the space time continuum Jank and his allies were able to return to their times. Jank had even met a half dragon of himself whose help had been invaluable. Upon return to Tethyr Jank was captured by reminents of the dark elf’s followers and they placed a gem inside of Jank which bound to his soul. Jank was released to never know death. The gem would bring him back eternally to the age in which it had bound to him, 23 though Jank’s actual age was 548 due to the temporal crack in battling the dark elf time lord. Whether a death of natural causes or some other means, Jank would never age and would forever remain 23 in looks and health.
So Jank wanders in search of allies, friends, battles, and maybe peace…….
