Waking up dazed

Waking up to the din of the noise, Darque looks around. Where was she? She looked around and saw broken down buidings. People were huddled around small bonfires and people yelling at each other. she didn't remember where she had come from. She looks down at herself, seeing her black boots, black gloves. Her long raven hair a bit disheveled from during her sleep. She slowly stands up, her joints sore from the way she slept in a sitting position. She rubs her neck and stretches it. The moon's light is hidden by her wide brimmed black leather hat. It was an old hat, something sentimental in it, but she couldn't remember what. She brought her black leather trench closer to her body, trying to keep in the body heat. She walks over to one of the barrels, the fire dancing off the mask covering the left side of her face. A few people stare at her but she only stares into the fire.

Watching the flames, she gets an odd feeling. Instead of flickering and standing straight as they should, they are leaning to one side, proving that the wind is getting stronger. She looks around and sees many people running in the same direction. The wind had picked up now and almost blew her hat off, had she not put her hand on top to prevent from losing it. She looks at the sky and realizes that this is not just any storm, but a hurricane! Cursing under her breath, she glares at the storm momentarily before seeing where people are running to. First she has to wake up in a place she does not know how she arrived, and now she has to deal with a hurricane? What else was next? At least they wouldn't have to see this . .. What was she thinking? Pushing the the thought away, she runs in the direction that the others are. There are several shelters, one being a tavern. Wanting something to take her mind off she goes towards that. The wind is stronger now, and the rains begin to hit hard as she pushes open the heavy door to the tavern and walks in.
