Many gothic people, furtune tellers, aura readers and other esoteric fun shall strike you from behind. | With so little room at the waterfront, the Marine Academy is situated in the Military District. Having a low level teleporter, the marines being trained can be placed at the Naval Academy for water trainings. Though not as heavily relied upon like the army, the marines boast that they have never lost a battle to anyone.

With the Military District making up 90% of the Western part Val'Dariah past the Market District, there is plenty of room to train soldiers. Here is where most of Val'Dariah's army is stationed, poised to move out in a moments notice. To help keep from boredom from setting in, many soldiers go out on patrol throughout the city and surrounding country side.

Here you can chose to be a regular ground knight, a dredge knight, a sky knight, or a paladin. Each has their own training style and function. Paladins serve the temples they belong to. Sky Knights patrol the air using dragons, gryphons, pegasi, or any other form of flying creature. It takes years to master, but it offers the greatest glory. Dredge knights are the brute force of the military, for they go into battle riding fifty ton war dredges. Though slow moving, their armor and strength usually turns many tides. Last is the Ground Knight. You're either walking, sitting in a cart, or riding a horse, nightmare, camel, or anything else with 2 or 4 legs.
| 0 | 0 | | | Mercinaries of all kinds, from species mercs, to specialist mercs, here is where you go. Each group is different, yet all follow the laws of the city and district. Again, not having enough room at the Docks, many pirate guilds are held here as well. Under Val'Dariah Guild Law, even if a faction is an enemy of the state, they are allowed to hold their faction houses here. Just know, the moment you step outside the city, you can be attacked.

They'll train you how to survive in any hostile condition, from deserts to frozen wastelands. Your main job is to find better, safer routs for armies to travel. You will recieve some fight training, but mostly you'll just be told to run away. You're intel is too important to have you killed needlessly.
